Laura Lumaghi is a graduate of Truman State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998. Laura graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in 2001 where she received her law degree and a Certificate in International and Comparative Law. During law school, Laura served on the Editorial Staff of the Saint Louis-Warsaw Transatlantic Law Journal and worked for Professor Joseph Rohlik as a Faculty Fellowship Student. She was also elected clerk of Phi Alpha Delta, elected representative of the Student Bar Association and was a member of the International Law Society.
After graduating from law school, Laura Lumaghi practiced at the same law firm for over 22 years as a personal injury attorney. She represented clients in many types of personal injury cases, including nursing home negligence, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Of special focus for Laura were federal and state court product liability cases against the manufacturers of Accutane, Actos, Avandia, Depakote, Granuflo, Transvaginal Mesh, Trasylol, and Mirena. She also represented clients in the following federal multidistrict litigation cases (MDLs):
During her 22 years, Laura has also represented many clients in probate courts throughout Missouri in decedent’s estate where a loved one has passed away and in guardianships/conservatorship for people that have become incapacitated.
